The College Devlopment Committee is a statutory committee with a mandate to develop, implement and monitor the Undergraduate Programs. The Committee is made up of Eleven people as per the provisions of Section 85(1) of Maharashtra University Act,1994.

The College Devlopment Committee constitutes College core committee which represents the trust for smooth functioning of College.

  • Prepare the budget and financial statements
  • Recommend to the management the creation of the teaching and other posts
  • Discuss the progress of studies in college
  • Make recommendations to the management for the improvement of the standard of teaching in the college
  • Formulate proposals of new expenditure not provided for in the college budget
  • Advise the Principal regarding the intake capacity of various classes
  • Consider and make recommendations on the inspection

Grievance Handling Committee

Objectives
  • To consider all grievances submitted in writing by any member of the students, Faculty members and other staff of the College.
  • To access all confidential files or otherwise relevant to the individual's grievances.
  • To study the petition and after looking into the relevant documents discuss with those concerned.
  • To submit its recommendations and report to the Chairman as expeditiously as possible.
  • To make final settlement of any grievance within a reasonable period(normally not exceeding one month).

Anti-Ragging Committee

Ragging in any form is prohibited at College of Business Studies & Computer Application. It is punishable offence as per the guidelines of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

     Guidelines of UGC and Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999

Under Section 26 (1)(g) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956) In view of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the matter of “University of Kerala v/s. Council, Principals, Colleges and others” in SLP no. 24295 of 2006 dated 16.05.2007 and that dated 8.05.2009 in Civil Appeal number 887 of 2009,and in consideration of the determination of the Central Government and the University Grants Commission to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student, or indulging in rowdy or indisciplined activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student or asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student, with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student, in all higher education institutions in the country, and thereby, to provide for the healthy development, physically and psychologically, of all students, the University Grants Commission, in consultation with the Councils, brings forth this Regulation. In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (g) of sub-section (1) of Section 26 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, the University Grants Commission hereby makes the following Regulations, namely.

Anti-Sexual harassment Committee

Objectives

  • To actively promote a social, physical and psychological environment that will raise awareness about and deter acts of sexual harassment of girls and women.
  • To ensure that implementation of the policy in letter and spirit by undertaking all.
  • To take necessary and reasonable steps including the constitution of conduct enquiries into complaints of sexual harassment.
  • To uphold the commitment of the college to provide an environment free of discrimination and violence against women.
